Halo! Maaf, akhir-akhir ini aku tidak sempat membuat post baru, hidup akhir-akhir ini sedikit membingungkan, tapi aku akan berusaha membuat post baru sesering mungkin mulai sekarang. Ngomong-ngomong, aku baru sadar ini bulan Juli, bulan Sale! Setiap toko yang aku lewati menuliskan kata 'SALE' besar-besar! Menurutku, ini waktu yang cocok untuk membeli pakaian dengan harga murah dan memakai barang-barang tersebut lagi pada musim Fall ini sampai tahun depan! Mungkin seperti kemeja berwarna mustard yellow, shorts berwarna/bermotif, dan mungkin sandal baru? Hari ini aku akan fokus ke toko Zara:

Zara sequinned playsuit ini cantik sekali! Ini cocok dipakai sendiri, atau kalau mau ke suatu tempat yang dingin, bisa dipakai dengan moto biker jacket hitam, stoking, dan boots! Bisa juga dipakai dengan sweater diatasnya, jadi kelihatannya seperti sedang mengenakan sweater dan shorts saja.

Peplum top sangat populer akhir-akhir ini, dan tampaknya akan terus populer. Bila kamu belum punya dan ingin satu, peplum top putih ini cantik bila ingin membuatnya sebuah basic, jadi gampang dipasangkan, tapi bila tidak, lebih baik langsung membeli yang nge-jreng, seperti yang warna teal ini. Peplum top cocok bila dipasangkan dengan bawahan yang 'kurus'--seperti skinny jeans dan pencil skirts. Tambah sebuah chunky necklace dan anda siap masuk Lookbook! 

Asymmetric skirt juga sedang sangat populer. Menurutku itu karena mereka fun dan trendy, namun masih mudah dipasangkan, apalagi bila memilih warna asymmetric skirt yang netral. Aku suka yang ini, sebab ini warna hitam, ini mudah dipasangkan dengan apa saja.

Hello! I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while, life's a bit of a mess right now, but I'll try to update as soon as I can from now on. By the way, I've (somehow) forgotten that this was July, the month of sales! Almost all stores I walk through are on sale right now, I can't seem to go anywhere without seeing a big red paper with white, gigantic, 96-sized font word of 'SALE'. I think it's an amazing time to stock up on fashion essentials/basics, and some unique-Summer items that will stand through the test of time and still wearable through Fall and even until next year--like maybe a yellow, mustard button down, colored shorts, and maybe a new, neutral sandal? Today, I'll be focusing on Zara's Sale, here's what I think can be stocked up:

This Zara sequinned playsuit is really pretty--it's great on it's own with black patent leather sandals for a day of Summer, or with a black moto leather jacket, tights and boots for Fall. Or layer a sweater over it so it would look like you're wearing a sweater and a cute minty-colored sequin shorts.

Peplum tops are trending this Summer, and it doesn't look like it's going to stop. If you haven't have one by now, Zara's are great--you can pick a white one like this if you plan on making it a basic, but if you don't, might as well go all out and get this teal studded one. They look amazing with skimmed bottom separates--skinny jeans and pencil skirts are great options to wear with these. Add a chunky necklace and you are now Lookbook-worthy.

Asymmetric skirts are the rage right now! They're fun, but still very very wearable if you pick a neutral color. I love this one. Since it's black, you can wear it with almost anything.

Outfit Inspiration: Striped Black & White Shirt + Bow-Tied Shorts

Please excuse my bad lighting! I didn't have time to take pictures during the day so I had to do it at night, with lamps. I'll try to take pictures during the day next time.

Anyway, here's today's outfit inspiration. What I love about this whole outfit is that:

1. Everything except the shoes are from Forever21. I personally think to be stylish, no one needs too much $$$. No need to spend $70 on a high-street brand top. You can get something cheap and work it! Thrift stores are great options too. :)

2. Every piece from this outfit can be worn again with different pieces. I'd love the stripe shirt with a denim cutoffs and round sunglasses, and the shorts (the bow adds a little something extra, doesn't it? And the slightly flared shape makes it a little more sophisticated) with a graphic white tank and a black bowler hat.

Dress like you're celebrating every single day of your life.

outfit inspiration: sheer black + green + gold

the title says it all! i really think gold and green are very great paired together--they make a really luxurious, rich color combination. add a sheer black chiffon to the mix, and you have an edgy, rich-colored outfit. i think this is a great outfit to wear out in the city--somehow i think it matches the whole urban theme.

hello, hello, hello.

hello everyone! i am the shy girl. this is a blog about all the things i find beautiful and fulfilling: fashion, inner and outer beauty, literature, photography, and travel. but mostly it is about fashion and beauty. 

you may think a shy, nerdy girl would have no interest in fashion and outer beauty, since they're the type of person who usually favors inside beauty than outside beauty. i, personally, favor both of them--of course, inside beauty is very, very, important, and will always be more important than outer beauty, since inside beauty can affect the overall outer beauty while outer beauty cannot affect inner beauty(not to mention the fact inner beauty will always determine what other people will think of you!), but as a girl, i cannot help but adore fashion and beauty--the rich palette of colors on dresses and lipsticks, the rich texture of silk and cashmere and the glittery texture of eyeshadows and the prettiness of a good cat-eye liner.

anyway, this is a glimpse of what my blog will be. i hope you can relate to it and find the things i put here beautiful.
